Spring has Sprung!

Happy Earth Day!  We hope you get the chance to go outside and celebrate our planet.

Of course, it’s a busy week for Wildwoods. We’re at Earth Day events from Grand Park to Pacoima, so catch us around town. Check our Facebook page to see where we are (or were).

And check out the updates below to catch up on the latest from Wildwoods.

2017 Wine Tasting LogoWildwoods Wine Tasting #7

It’s hard to believe it’s been 7 years already! And it’s just around the corner on Saturday, May 20. This year, we’re proud to feature new beverages and new sponsors, including Three Weavers craft brewery and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

Plus, we are SUPER excited to present the incredible gypsy jazz band The Bastards of Belleville. And if they don’t knock your socks off, the silent auction will. You don’t want to miss it.

CB PaseoWildwoods is SO happy to announce the return of our Paseo program, a family outing and photography project that serves the partner agencies of the Magnolia Community Initiative.

The words and photos presented in the video here are from the families who joined us for our first Paseo in March.

Wildwoods on Instagram

You Can't Help EveryoneWe may be a little late to the game, but Wildwoods has re-launched our Instagram feed with our own unique focus on urban nature as well as Wildwoods events. Photography has always been a core part of our programs, so it’s a natural fit.

Big News Coming

And speaking of photography…

Right now, it’s still simmering, but soon we’ll be bubbling over with news about an art project featuring photographs created by the students and families in Wildwoods programs.

Stay tuned!

Finally, we want to congratulate Advisory Board Co-Chair Bryant Davis and his wife Courtney on the birth of their beautiful son, Connor. Welcome to the Wildwoods family!
