Schools

"We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors;
                                   we borrow it from our children."

                                                             -Native American proverb

At the Wildwoods Foundation, we believe that:
  • The best learning is hands-on and collaborative, using real-world projects.
  • Valuable educational experiences exist outside of classroom walls.
Following that belief, we have three programs to offer schools in the Los Angeles region. Additionally, we can provide customized programs to address the specific needs of your school community.  For customized programs, please contact us at (213) 989-1955.
  • Full Circle
    Our flagship school-based program, Full Circle is an outdoor-based character development and community-building program.
  • A Drop in the Bucket: The Wildwoods Water Program
    A Drop in the Bucket: The Wildwoods Water Program is a 2-hour program for grades 4 - 6, offered free at Vista Hermosa Natural Park.
  • Youth Quest
    This is a 10-part, weekly module for after-school programs. Our activities incorporate natural science themes and reinforce elementary level academic standards.
