Teacher Commitments
Teachers are expected to make a commitment to support the work of the Wildwoods
Foundation and the Full Circle program by integrating the program into their
regular curriculum for a period of eight (8) weeks. Two to three days of
professional development training and a list of follow-up classroom activities
will be provided, as well as additional support resources available during the
program.
The following is a list of expectations and commitments:
• Attend two (2) In-Service trainings
• Secure permission slips and release forms
• Arrange student "work groups"
• Assist Program Instructors during activities
• Conduct prep and follow-up activities in class
• Facilitate program documentation (including journaling,
photography and video)
• Conduct evaluations (teacher and student) and Pre- and
Post-program surveys
• Provide and/or facilitate the supply of requested assessment
information (grades, attendance records, etc.)
School Administration Commitments:
• Support the teaching staff during training
and program • Provide and/or facilitate the provision of necessary
assessment and evaluation information (grades, attendance records, etc.)
• Provide lunches for those students qualifying for
• Free & Reduced Lunch (on field-trip days)
• Provide additional in-kind support when possible
School site Technology Requirements:
• Networked computer workstations with Internet connection (1:4
ratio)
• Word processing software
And, if available, the following are helpful:
• Tech lab manager
• Flatbed scanner
• CD burner
• Image editing software (Photoshop,Picture Viewer, etc.)
• Presentation software (PowerPoint, etc.)
